Strategic Plan

Setting the Course for the next 100 years at the Woods College: Strategic Directions 2026–2031

Ìý

This past January, the Woods College staff and administration officially launched a strategic planning process for the Woods College, kicking off the year-long endeavor with a staff retreat at The Connors Center. At the retreat, we sat with the rich history of the Woods College and reflected on its work and mission over the last (near) century. We challenged ourselves with questions about who and what the Woods College is at the present moment, and what we believe the Woods College is meant to become in the future. With the Woods College set to celebrate its 100 year anniversary in 2029, this work couldn't be more timely and exciting.

Once completed, the Strategic Plan will set the vision, goals, and priorities of the College, and will be centered around the work of subcommittees exploring five major themes:

  • Academics
  • Alumni / Community Partners
  • Innovation & Growth
  • Mission & Identity
  • Student Experience & Engagement

Students, faculty, and staff may be invited to engage in conversations or participate in surveys related to these areas. We welcome your voice and would be grateful for your involvement and insights.ÌýOur aim is to have the official strategic plan launched and live in 2026.

We look forward to updating you on the process and setting the course for the Woods College into its next century.

Stay tuned and reach out to our team with any questions or feedback along the way.

Warmly,

Ìý
